Wood chips - pine softwood chips
Cogent Fibre wood chips are produced from paper-quality, southern yellow pine. Harvested from the necessary
tree thinning in the South Eastern United States, they are chosen for their ideal suitability in the manufacture
of paper and pulp, particleboard, MDF and wood pellets.
Production
Cogent Fibre pine softwood chips are harvested from base-cut trees, debarked, and fed into chipping
machines. They are sorted to spec and finish as clean pine softwood chips.
