Wood fibre Biomass - Wood Pellets
Wood pellets are a renewable energy source with a zero net contribution of green house gases. As one of many products classified as “bio-fuel or biomass”, wood pellets are considered a sizeable, viable alternative to fossil fuels for the immediate future. Production
Produced from eucalyptus, the raw material is dried, reduced in particle size by hammer mill, and then extruded under intense pressure into pellets. During this process the raw material is densified approximately 3.7 times. This result is a wood pellet with a bulk stowage factor of approximately 52-56 ft3 per metric ton.
The pellets are available in 15 to 1000 KG bags, and shipped by 40’ container load. But like all Cogent Fibre products, they are flexible for your specifications.
